I am a Consultant in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the National Hospital, Kandy, Sri Lanka, and the Founder & CEO of MedCX.
My clinical work is centred around complex perioperative care, cardiovascular anaesthesia, critical care, patient safety, pain management and improving healthcare outcomes through better systems.
Beyond medicine, I am interested in how artificial intelligence, digital technology and intelligent operations can solve practical healthcare problems and make healthcare services more efficient, accessible and patient-centred.
This combination of clinical experience and entrepreneurship led to the creation of MedCX — a healthcare AI and operations company built around the future needs of healthcare organisations.
